I built the LMS horizontal stirling and it tries to run only if I heat it with a propane torch. No friction, no leaks. If I get it almost red hot it will run for about 10 seconds and then quit.
Suggestions? Tips? :wall:

Thanx.

Possible loss of heat, too hot in the cold space in the displacercylinder, too low compression ratio. The stirling engine will run when you are changing the phase angle from 90 degree to 120 degree at crankshaft if the stirling engine has high pressure by compression.
