Next up I will be building the Nemett Lynx. I am not excited by the process of making the piston rings. I would rather see if I can locate some suitable items, much like people do with nuts and bolts or carburetors in some instances.

On that basis I am on the hunt for any ready-made piston rings that might suit the 25mm/~1 inch bore.

Does anyone have a source for off the shelf rings to suit?

I'd have to agree that they're pretty easy to make. My first ever set worked first time and I've yet to break one while installing it on the piston or installing the piston itself.

I was concerned the first time I had to make them as well but really worth the satisfaction of making them yourself.

No worries. Many of us made C.I. Piston Rings successfully. Its not difficult.
The Nemett-Lynx Engines that Paul Swift and Gus Teng made months ago ran with DIY Rings. Along with the drawings, there is a page with instructions to machine and heat treat.
We will be making C.I. Piston Rings for the Howell V-2 and V-4 engines.
