Glad you asked....

I've been lurking around these forums for ages being amazed by the creations you guys (and gals?) come up with. I've recently decided to make my own steam engine so I figured it was time to become part of the family here.

To properly introduce myself...

I do a great deal of 3D modeling... (self taught, 11 years exp)

Fairly decent at Machining this and that... (Have a hobby CNC machine.)

I have more hobbies than a man has a right to...
Play Guitar, Crazy in to Remote Controlled 'anything....', Pencil artist, Wannabe Engineer, Computer über G33k, 3D Printing buff, Woodworking, and a whole assortment of other hobbies. So I figure I would fit right in here.

So there you have it. Me in a nutshell.

Far out WW! Your trike is very steampunk. Thanx for showing.

Aye. I was on a 'Chopper' trip for a while in my 3D meanderings. There was some pretty neat creations in that foray. But the Steamer was my fav. I actually have an animated version of it. The drive train is a 'tweaked' version of the Walschaerts valve gear found on old Steam locomotives. In Theory, this little bugga could really be made. Although I admit the Boiler is more 'showy' than function.
