yesterday while browsing the net specifically the MACH3 web site I came a cross a manual for threading on a cnc lathe with mach 3
http://www.machsupport.com/docs/Mach3_Threading.pdf
I wold encourage all to read this whether or not you have a CNC lathe and want to program threads. it is an in depth look at lathe threading 57 pages comprehensive but IMHO not overly technical. I scanned through it an downloaded it yesterday .
Can not say I read every word or studied every diagram . but I do think it is a worthwhile info for all that have a lathe.
I hope this gets well read. I felt this was the best place for this thread and I do not like double posts. Enjoy folks.
