Nice historical perspective of how your interest in this hobby evolved Pat. I suspect others can relate to your experiences, I know I can. Your efforts on the flywheel need no apologies - cutting a flywheel from scratch takes a lot of machine tool positioning and well, one bad move and it's over :'( Yours looks pretty good to me.
