This is my version of a Thermoacoustic cycle engine.

My original idea was to make a Stirling engine but ended up in this, more simple one. This is my first and only attempt to the hobby until today.

I made the cooler in aluminium and the cylinder in brass with a graphite piston. Also use 3mm OD bearings. The engine was able to run at 1,250 rpm for quite long periods of time (10 minutes or even more). Unfortunately the tiny bearings get lose in the setting to thecrank that is only 1mm thick (as well as the bearings) so I would need to do a new and stronger crank to have it running again.
