Hi. I need your help. I'm a 50 year old man who lives in South Philadelphia. I've built myself a nice little hobby machine shop in my basement. I've been playing around and learning as best I can from youtube and books, but it's clear to me that what I need is an expert to spend some time with me in my shop teaching me the basics 1 on 1.
I've completed a steam engine kit although I had to order new castings 3 times.. I'm working on my second one and I've made some mistakes already.. It's discouraging.
Are you an experienced machinist? Do you think you can offer a novice some good advice? Please contact me and we can arrange for you to come visit my shop for lessons. I'd be glad to compensate you for your time and effort!
