I am not sure where this basic design originated but the first time I saw this style of can was on a Tubalcain video, so I will give him the credit. You can't open his can up. When I use my little brush for applying oil, I get shavings on it and I wanted a way to clean out the can. I found these 4 ounce screw on top cans and decided to try one out. Soldering didn't work for attaching the tube to the lid, so I went with J-B Weld which seems to work great so far. Now I can take the top off as needed to clean out the accumulated shavings. Works great.

I think it would be of value to readers to know your source for the tins. They look similar to some from Lee Valley Tools ?
Can you provide your source ? Thanks
