Mr. Dick Shelly passed.

A great model craftsman passed this wednesday the 19th. I built several of his models and always enjoyed talking with him at the model shows.

I'm sorry to hear this. In my book, Dick was one of the good guys. I always enjoyed visiting Dick and Mrs. Shelly at the shows.

While building his 1/4 Galloway, I got acquainted with three other fellows who were then building the 1/4 scale. Thanks to Dick and his model, I not only ended up with a nice engine, but three good friends as well.
