I have been culling my model engineer collection and have over 520 duplicate issues I'd like to sell. If you want to get really good at making model engines, to really accelerate your work, there is no better way than to read direct how-to accounts of the most skill practitioners. Unlike books (that certainly have their place), the journals walk you through constructing specific parts and projects as well as just lots of info on steam and IC.

Whether you ever make the specific thing doesn't matter, having an experienced builder walk you through and explain greatly contributes to your knowledge and understanding; there's millions of hours of experience in these pages. That's the approach I took. I realized as an amateur I'd never get the hours of experience a pro gets so to get good I need to accelerate the learning and there is no better way than reading these journals. These are duplicates, I wouldn't sell my collection, its too valuable a resource - but here's a chance for you to start yours.

here's what i have (btw the early stuff is gold, from the glory days of model engineering, LBSC, Geometer, Westbury, Turpin etc)

PS..... hope is for a bulk sale, I'll sell individual issues if it doesn't break a volume or long run of issues. Bulk pricing will be attractive, individual issue pricing will be like a used book store :D

PSS i'm in Toronto re local pickup but will ship

*sigh* ... the apartment's too small or I'd jump on this without hesitation. But the subject line was a bit confusing to someone who's not had his morning coffee yet. I was trying to figure out who among us you were trying to sell off. ;D

BEst regards,

I am disappointed in the lack of creativity, they can serve so many dual purposes and easily fit into small quarters. Use as an extra kitchen stool or 2 end tables when not in use and you'll never know they're there.

Oh, ye of little faith, why do you think there is no more room at the inn? Extreme creativity is why I no longer have the space that would be occupied by those delightful magazines. (Um, they are magazines, right? Not MEs of the order that colleges and universities aren't turning out properly.)

Seriously, does anyone know if they were ever released in CD or DVD form? They are the sort of thing I would love to add to my collection of eBooks but I must travel the wrong circles or something.

BEst regards,

Kludge
