I maked own model engine out of parts from automotive car parts such as cast iron from brake disc, camshaft, steel from drive shaft, torsion bar. The crankcase was cast from old waterpump as i this the larger engine in picture. The smaller engine is made of machined bar aluminium.

The first engines has rought crankcase due it was first cast without knowledge how to cast the aluminium. Learned out a lot of faults before i improved the knowledge to cast the aluminium. The pattern of crankcase was in steel sheet.
