Hi All,

I just picked up one of these lathes today:

It's labelled as a Shanghai Ning Jiang HG 28 but it would seem that there are only about 3 people in the whole google-able world that have one. So I'm guessing it must be an unbadged something else. Does anybody here have one or have seen one?

They are not my lathe - it's just an identical one. When mine is all set up I'll photograph it for everyone on here.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Regards,
Dinkum

Hi Rick,

Thanks for the reply. I think it's a nice find too. :D Would you believe the thing I'm dying to try out the most is the coolant pump? :hDe:

Is this type of thing sold only industrially which would mean you don't see them advertised? It's funny that a machine found in Australia can only be found advertised in Singapore. Maybe as they get older there will be more of them around so to speak and therefore more info about them.

Regards,
Dinkum
