I thought I would like to show off my collection of engines and have a page to update as builds are completed.

Most of these engines were inspired and/or designed by forum members.

It all started about 15 years ago when this thing called the internet came along and I found some designs on-line.

My first was "Three Sisters" which was made using only a lathe and drill press. When it came alive, that was it, I was hooked;

Then I learned there was a whole community of hobbyists building these things and found some books and built Philip Duclos' "Fire Eater";

Next was a LTD stirling made from drawings supplied by Len Winn;

Here is Jan Ridders "Pulse Mobile" and the build.

I also pitched in on a team build, Elmers "Coomber"

I really like Jan Ridders designs so "Bas" was built here.

When I felt I was ready to try an IC, "Hoglet" was built (and the saga continues) here.

I have really enjoyed this hobby and hope to pursue it further when things settle down on the home front.

Have fun!

KB,

Thank you so much for sharing/showing your engines.
They are a kick up the a**e for me to get in the cave again and re-start.
Talented is the word.

Kind regards,

Ron.

Really enjoyed your collection of engines. A lot of variety and all well made.

Great stuff Kevin :bow:, really makes me think I need a Hoglet.

Peter

Thanks for the kind words.

I think that is what this forum is all about, sharing idea's and inspiration with each other.

My hat's off to Rick and the moderators of this forum, I don't know how many of my engines would have existed with out it!
