Hi folks,
I've kind of muddled my way through posting some jpegs but need some help with pdf files. I am working up a set of plans for a new beam engine. (see the "what are you doing today" thread in the break room.) I am extracting .dwg files from my inventor model which I can also save as .pdf files. I would like to post them so they can be freely downloaded, but I aint sure just how to do it.
Help would be appreciated. Thanks,
OBG

1. Click on reply

2. Bottom left + Additional Options - Click on this

3. Click on browse to select the file from your computer.

4. Select the file and it will appear in the box to the right of attach:

5. Click on post

As Maryak said  ........... it should be straightforward but, if you have any difficulty, email them to me and I'll post them on your behalf.

There is a limit of 4Mb for attachments to a post.
There is also a folder limit of 195Mb total per member.

However, in the top left menu on the index page, you will see
a Downloads and uploads option.
Files up to 24Mb can be uploaded there without limiting out
on the post or folder allowances.

Maryak & Rick,
Thanks for the help guys. When I get the drawings done, I'll have a go at it. I presently have the engine drawings about 40% done & will need about 3 more evenings to complete extracting the drawing files. (I still travel about 100,000 miles a year and have to be home to get this done.) If I have trouble I'll yell for help again.

Thanks,
OBG
