A few years back I visited a large engineering works a mention was made of a honing powder one grade that started of coarse and gradually degraded to fine an didn't have to be cleaned of .Has anyone else heard of this and do you know its name and where it ma be obtained

A friend needed some about 10-12 yrs ago.

He did eventually track it down. All I could (half) remember was 'Watts Engineering' & 'Glasgow'

Have no idea if it's still valid for supply.

thanks Dave I will google them and will try all the model engineering supplies failing that I will have to take a Holiday to the USA .I like this site everyone is so helpfull
