Good morning all. I have joined just a few days ago and am still fascinated by all that is available on this website. It is particularly encouraging to know how helpful you all seem to be towards helping out those with less experience than yourselves and helping out with your specialist skills.
I am also a member of Toastmasters International and their method of "Praise, Improvement, Praise" when evaluating someones workmanship, seems to adapt equally well on this website
I built my first model steam engine 39 years ago and it sits proudly on a shelf- a reversing Horizontal mill engine by "Elmer Verburg" featured in Live Steam November 1979 and was quite pleased with the result. Since then I started a v-4 oscillating cylinder which has sat in a shame bin due to a disaster with a major part of the build, for more than 25 years. Now I haave been inspired again by your website. The introduction of mini cnc mills is also very encouraging.

I have just started bulding " An unusual steam engine" featured in Live Steam October 1977 and will try to provide photos as you all seem to want these.

I have a Hercus ATM 260 lathe ( no milling attachment or faceplate or dividing head as yet) and an old Waldown bench drill at least ten years older than me (I'm 58)

Looking forward to a long association with you all,

Regards
