Hello all, I have been lurking about this forum for some time and am greatly impressed by the friendly atmosphere. So much so that I am tempted to build a small "hit & miss" engine. I was thinking along the lines of a Kerzel or Upshur, having read the great builds in the forum. Leaning slightly towards the Kerzel as the plans are free, only minor problem all my kit is metric and the plans are imperial. Anyone know if a set of metric plans is available for either engine, my CAD skills are definitely not up to drawing my own yet.

A bit about me.. Engineer Cadet in the Merchant Navy more years ago than I care to remember, which is where I learnt a bit about engineering. Spent 30 years doing something completely different although I have always had a small workshop. Latest lathe is Chinese WM250 and mill is WM14. Have a great aptitude for starting projects but never finishing them!

Cheers

John
