I'm so tired of these "plastic" watering tools for the garden

- they can't stand the light from the sun and they are so highly sensitive !

I'm searching a simple and stable garden watering tool - best with no moving parts ... no plastic .. ... steinless steel !

Does any of you have en "blue print" for such a thing ?

Hi

I recommend u look at Ebay (e.g Tradera.se) And find an old model made in the days we could buy quality, and refurb it! Or rebuild a plastic version by just copying it!

Glad sommar!

Hi Ksor,
If you can find a plastic watering can made by "HAWS", they are far superior to the cheap, nasty, utter cr*p that garden centres try to pass of as a useful item. We have two Haws, they must be at least twenty years old by now and still going strong. They spend all year outside in the sunlight, when we get any, there is some minor colour fade but that's all.
Ned
PS I just checked to see if they are still being made and they are. I just hope they are made to the old standards and not subcontracted to some nameless chinese plastic "toy" maker.
