Digital edge finder Help

Been following this thread for a while and decided to look on ebay to see what I could find. Found one for Au$6.15, with a 6mm point so went ahead and ordered it. Will let you know what it is like when it arrives

Should fit my 20mm collet with nom 100mm projecting.Not too big,if i can get to use it

still no definate solution so went to the hi fi store and bought 2 no 1.5v size N
Physically only 1 cell will fit but it did not work.Held 2 in posn and shorted out and it did work.To get the 2nd to fit i cut off 25mm from the cap.Faced and drilled in the lathe to fit the the spring and Bingo.Still cant get my head around what makes the chinese tick.Now to see how this item wor ks. Time will tell

You mean Bingo as in success, it lights up & all is well?

Weird how the stock batteries don't fit & mildly suspicious they are sketchy on details. Maybe someone made a cad design boo-boo & 10,000 cnc parts later... discount ebay stock for years

My houghts exactly.So cheap and good excuse for not posting batteries.
So far wrong it made my head spin.Still kike to hear from anyone who has one

Hey Baz. Why not get in touch with the Chinese supplier. You might get an order for 10,000 modifications.

Now thats a thought Herbie.10000 mods would yield about 250m of 13mm dia alum.Almost 100Kg.Just the right size for model furnase and casting ????
