It's back to the workshop after the rellies visit over the xmas break.
The con rods are now fitted and the wheels quartered.
A start has been made on the cylinder assemblies, a beer was called for after the last hole was tapped.
As of today the rough piston assemblies have been put together a few thow oversize ready for final fitting to the cylinders, and for something different the chimney was turned up.
I hope the pictures show how the cylinder shape was achieved, a woodruff cutter made the first incision then the rotary table took care of the final shape.
