I'm looking to purchase some chucking reamers. The question I have is which to buy? Either straight or spiral flute ? If you post an answer please advise why of your option.
Thanx again,

These people are good value [email protected]; for tools. I use straight fluits becouse they are cheap. If you ever need to ream a hole with a keyway in it or something that won't work with a straight cut reamer just make up a toolmakers reamer from drillrod and use that.

OOps again. Thank you for that! !I never really knew myself why one would use a straight flute reamer instead of a spiral flute reamer. Your answer sheds light on the issue.----Brian
