I recently got a new to me lathe, a 12x40" Sebastian gear head, of ww2 vintage. I got a 3-jaw, and a 4-jaw with it plus some other tooling to go with it, at a very reasonable price.
One of the chucks that came with it is a, 8", 3-jaw chuck that says Belco, made in England. The logo is in the form of a cross, in a circle, with the made in England wrapped around the bottom of it.
I have tried Google, and other searches, but have found nothing.
I am hopping someone might have some info about them????

Possibly B Elliott Group Ltd. They sold Victoria mills and Cardiff lathes. Established back in 1900, so there is lots of information on the net. Still surviving.
