balls

ok i made a ball turning tool for my 8x14 lathemaster lathe it looks good. but my balls are oblong sorta.
what am i doing wrong? this bar is about 1/5 round ???

if i can get it to work right ive pics of my build if i cant get it to work ill scap the dam thing(i really dont want to do that)

The rotation axis of the ball turning tool must intersect the center of the to-be-turned ball.
If it doesn't you'll be turning some form of an ogive.

its pretty center very where. ill keep ajusting and try this "N" that for a bit till i get tired of it.
i pretty much made it on the lathe except the sliding part witch was made on the mill

You can also try the trig method....I believe Marv has a program for it....works very well.

scrapped it . it just does not work ive adjusted till im sick of it. ill build something else. this is too complicated for a hobby.
