Craigslist find - Atlas shaper in Palm City. The shaper itself looks OK, not an original vise, and some rust - but it has the original cast legs!

Whoops, should mention that it's listed for $225. Sounds like a bargain, if the machine is in decent shape.

Looks like a decent shaper for a decent price. the factory legs on that one are a nice plus but no guards. and looks like the drip pan is missing. and is has the drill press vise rather than the real vise and the table is a bit rusty. If someone gets it and needs help let me know . I may be able to help. nice tool but some quirks.

Now thats a deal. I have one already, but would snatch that up as quick as I could. The stand is worth the asking price for some. The belt guards were optional, so they are not missing, probably were never purchased with it. If anyone is interested in this I have a web page of compiled information on the atlas shaper here http://wentztech.com/metalworking/Equipment/Shaper/Shaper.html
