This was engine number two. Based upon a 1910 twin solenoid engine by Charles Avery. I built this from some patent drawings and photos. The build was published in the Mode Engineer last year. It runs ok, but perhaps it would benefit from some lower impedance coils. Perhaps a job for another day.
