Hi all interested,
Some 6 years ago I designed a 2-cylinder high temperature Stirling with a very unique drive mechanism if I may say so. The displacer rods and those of the working pistons are all connected to the same simple and single crankshaft. The working cylinders are oscillating on tubes that also atmospherically connect the corresponding hot and cold cylinders with each other through two longitudinal bores in the mounting plate.
That time I made this model "on the spot" without any drawing plans other than rough sketches. Because I get plan requests for this Stirling model all the time I now finally decided to make a complete CAD plan for this nice running engine, implementing some improvements and simplifications at the same time making use of my experiences with other engines during the years in between. The CAD plans are ready now and I will make them available after I rebuild my original model successfully according to this new plan which I estimate to be ready coming April.
