    Micro Deburring??

Hello All!! Just thinkin the other day after drilling some small thru holes in a slot that is recessed on both sides. Well like we all know when you drill thru, you get a burr on exit side of the hole. Since these are .050" holes in a slot that is only .100" wide, how do you deburr the drilled...

    Rotary Broaching question?

So... maybe you guys can clear this up for me. Why does the piece have to spin (lathe) or broach spin(mill) in order for the rotary broach to work? Ive broached at work with a standard hex broach before, but that was just in a press and that defiantly wasn't spinning. Couldn't you just press in...

    Soldering Aluminum? Good, Bad, Ugly??

So, I need to soldier a joint which consists of an 3/32" aluminum tube, inserted into a 3/32" hole in an aluminum head. Is soldering the way to go, or should I press fit? Oh yeah, and it needs to hold an air pressure of 50-60 PSI. I asked my welding professor and he suggested TIG, which on a...

I want to re-do the cylinders, the groove tool I made was a lil left to be desired. A lil more work on the block to make...
