Hello....especially to the new guys and gals here.

I've been trying desperately to follow along with you all. I'm always amazed at the talent and drive of the fine people we, HMEM, seem to attract.

I see so many great projects by so many different members, it boggles the mind....whole builds have gone mostly unnoticed by me until late and I kick myself that I didn't see it sooner! *club* :Doh:


I just want to say on behalf of the mods and admins, Welcome and keep posting! ....Your all doing great!

Keeping up with all the great things happening at HMEM is a task that becomes more difficult with each passing month. Like Dave I wish to say that if I have missed something I should not have missed it's not for want of trying it's just a part of being human and a senior one as well.

I hear ya Dave.

When I joined up it was easy to keep up to date just by looking at the side-bar.
Now, you can make a post and it is gone from the side-bar within minutes.

It really is hard to keep with all the great builds. :bow:
 
Dave and Bob, :bow: you guys have done a great job with this forum in keeping up with its ever growing span. This goes to all other administrators and keeper of this forum. I have been here since January of 2012 and I see how much it has grown since. This is a great place to learn and since being here have fill my cup as full as I can get it. To me it just keeps getting better. There are some many craftsmen and mentors to guide us. All have been willing and unselfish in there efforts to teach and help.

I've noticed that many of the recent joiners, while new to the forum, certainly aren't new to model engine machining. There are always new ideas and new methods being posted here from both new and longtime members and from those with all levels of experience and that keeps it interesting and keeps me coming back. Alas, I have also noticed fewer posts from a number of folks who used to post with regularity. I suppose that is how it goes with forums as life moves on and circumstances change. Still, sad to see it happen.
 
Life is ever changing Dennis....this whole thing is a very unusual journey for me....I'm sure that I am not special in that regard......but friends are still friends....even if the distance is great.

I'll add the same: Thanks to all those who have encouraged me and everyone else on this forum. I find that it is easy to miss chances to notice or comment because there is so much going on here.

Best wishes to all who have had circumstances change and I'm always glad to see names return after periods of inactivity.

Heck with KEEPing up; I'll never ever CATCH up!

Great stuff here. The talent is inspiring if not outright intimidating at times. But as I said in another post somewhere, this is a process not a goal. I keep doing what I can do and enjoying it as much as possible and not worry if someone else is doing something bigger or better.

Good work to all and especially forum owner/moderators keep it all together here as a resource for the rest of us.
