Where to place your lathe and mill?

;D Those are the little buttons that screw onto the bottom of the vise. I think they are supposed to help keep it square in the track, but I really don't know how to mount the vise yet.

Congrats on the new mill, Chris. It is now similar to the ones that Mircomark sell.. "No red goop", as they say in their ad.

Yes, tram the mill before you put on the vise.

Today I worked on tramming the mill. I think it went ok, it was really hard to get it be the same reading when I would swing the arm side to side. I am not sure but I believe the table is a little lower in the back than it is in the front. Is there a way to go about fixing this? I went ahead and bolted the vise to the table and tried my best to line it up so that it is square. Then I made some chips to see how I did. Over the three inches I milled my edge stayed the same width so I must have gotten it close. Here are some pictures, thanks Chris.
