Here's a quickie that will get attention. Its a "Hero" style turbine made from a copper toilet bowl float.
There is a bolt with a point on it screwed into the top. It rides in a small depression in the center shaft. The center shaft is pressed into the brass base. It has a hole drilled in the bottom that is cross drilled about half way up. There is a brass bushing soldered into the bottom of the float so it will pilot on the shaft. It spins relly nice just buy blowing into the pipe.
