Hey guys!

Just wanted to know where everyone is with their parts. Trying to see if we need more time. I know with the current state of affairs, I have been spending a lot of time searching for a new job and have gotten behind.

So where is everyone at? Anyone need more time or are we all set for the end of october to start shipping.

On a side note, I need everyones address to set up the ship schedule.

Hi Eric

I bet that's easier to type than say :big: :big: :big: :big:

Kind Regards

I little more time would be nice. "Real" work and home life has interfered a bit.
Of course, so has getting a "new" mill ;D

Work will still be completed using the X2 though. I've managed to scrap a couple of parts, in process of being remade.

Address being sent via PM.

I am embarassed to say that on this team build, I have made absolutely no progress as yet. It's been a crazy few months lately.

Best,

BW

I have bases cut and drilled, need to profile and slot them, drill and tap the 2 holes. If i got busy I could probaly make the date, not sure I need more excuse to procrastinate however. I'll have them done, maybe not polished or anything more then burred.

Hi

Hi

Regret to report that I have not yet started on my parts, so some more time would be good here....

On the other hand, the wood for the sub-bases is ready for trimming to final size.

Joe

Cam rings are machined and engraved. I just need to spend a few hours polishing and then fill the engraving. I hate to polish so I have been putting it off. I like to make parts.

Couple weeks should do it for me.

more time would be great for me too. Life has gotten in the way of my hobby. :-[

Happy to report that I've finally started my allotment of bearings... on the other hand, will be out of town from this Saturday till next Friday so things will stand still for a week.

Joe

The general consensus is that life has gotten in the way for a lot of us. I know I am looking for a new job myself.

So... if everyone agrees. 1 month extension?

Aye.

Yup! ;D (Otherwise, I'd be a month late....)

Joe

Alright folks, bases are done with the exception of burring them and finish tapping holes. Whats the opinion of finish/bling. Leave em as machined and end user can polish to suit? I won't have a ton of time to spend polishing, mine may wind up painted actually. Also how about the screws etc. Is each person responsible for their own hardware? I wouldn't have any problem purchasing enough screws to send out to fill the two tapped holes in my pieces. Box of 100 5-40 screws is only a few bucks.

Brian

Good job! can't wait to see them.

I think everyone could do their own finish polishing.

Probably a good rule;

"The guy who taps the hole puts a fastener in it"

I just picked up a box of button hex heads to replace the slotted ones I had. (can't stand slotted)

Looking forward to have this one in the collection.

Kevin.
