First time trying to post a picture.
This is a $ 2.50 HF spring punch holder with the center section removed. Quick, cheap & I am also sure everyone knows about it, but I wanted to try posting a picture.

Okay, this has been added to the cool idea file. :D

I can't speak for anyone else - and wouldn't anyway - but I've never seen this one before. It is a thing of beauty!

BEst regards,

Clever little secretary

I have never seen one before. What is the purpose of the part that has been removed?

I have one in my toolbox at work. It is called a springloaded center punch. 2 springs, one heavy one in top one lighter one by tip, with a small eccentric. When you push it trips the eccentric and drives the tip into the work to make your mark.sorry cant explain it any better need more coffee. Brain still fuzzy.
