Threading is not one of my favorite things to do in the shop. I made a tap holder as Joe P. posted and it worked very well, with one exception. No matter which tap I needed for the job, the tap follower was always configured incorrectly (pointed vs crown). So I came up with this idea so no matter what tap was needed, the tap follower would work.

#3, 4, 5 works in one, 6,8 works in another and 10 works in a third. Another may be needed in the future. So far, they have worked as I had hoped. The ones with the handles are more friendly to my old arthritic hands but they can be used either way.
