Hi All,

I have just bought July's copy of model engineers workshop and in the Harrogate show piece there is mention and a picture of SPG Tools. Has anyone on here had any dealings with them recently? \recommend etc as a search brings up a couple of threads from 2008.

As with Amadeal you don't get steadies, 4-jaw or faceplate as standard and they do not even list them as options, this could be a problem in the future particularly the steadies. Thats for teh 10" lathe.

RDG were also doing the cross feed 280 a month or so ago but can't see it on their site and Engineers toolroom also do it.

I have so got to stop brousing the web for lathes, pick one and just go with it. too many small suppliers of the same variants with little diferences depending on what week they came out of the factory.
