Hi all interested,
I just finished the revised version of my 2-cylinder Stirling with an unique drive system for the displacers and oscillating work cylinders. See the (new) video:

Wow! This engine is fantastic. Jan , your work amazes me. I'd really love to see some pictures and video of your shop and use of it. I'll hit you up for prints when I finish the 4 projects I'm on now.
 
Must have been in stealth mode when he posted it. Very nice and original.

Brilliant design with the small crank disc to push the displacer rods.
With this set-up you could experiment with changing the shape from a pure circle to a cam profile to increase dwell of the displacer at top and bottom of its stroke. According to James Rizzo, this would increase efficiency etc. And might be a bit of fun to play with!
