What would be the best reference book for using a rotary table or dividing head? Does the machinery handbook give referen ce on how to use them Larry

Oh and yes there is an extensive section on dividing heads in the Machinery Handbook.

woow that a very interesting book Dave!

I just download it and take my time to look the ilustrations, it's amazing the incredible numbers of setups and stuff for the old-days production machinery! got amazed!!

and seems to cover all! gear cutting, tool and cutters, angles, math formulas etc...
