question for idahoan on exciter coil

iadhoan thank you for your answer on the exciter coil but i think i am still confussed. my coil has 3 leads one red one white and one black,if i understand you correct the white goes to the sparkplug the black goes to the neg. connection and the red goes to the positive connection . thanks for your help jonesie

That should be correct; the one that I have has two white leads and the paperwork shows this also. The white lead/s also have thicker insulation.
