Has anyone built one of these with flame ignition rather than a spark plug?

I think Wayne Grennings is the only one to have built them with flame ignition but his are not small.

My 1/4 scale will have to be spark ignition and even then suitable gas is not so easy to get hold of so will probably use an acetylene generator
