I've got an old Power Mac G5:

Which dropped first one then the remaining CPU quite some time ago so it's been replaced. But what to do with the case? It's far too nice to bin and I can't imagine a 6-7 year old Mac is worth too much for spares (even if I could be bothered to ebay it) so what to do with it? Apart from gutting it and adding some shelves inside to form a hi-tec looking shelving unit I'm lost for ideas! Do any of you guys have any better ideas?

Vic.

Turn it into a shop fan for those hot days?
Build in a radio for some entertainment?
Hi-tech cheese grater?

Remove the front cover build some "tool Box" drawers and make a precision tool caddy out of it.

Hey you asked for ideas.

Make a great box to house those stepper or better yet servo motor drivers to complete that cnc machine that we all know you have been dreaming about. ::)

A self-contained engine/shop display. Boiler in one corner, engine connected to it, and a line shaft driving several models.
