I'm just thinking about my future projects in IC. I see that some folks are using "rubber" O Rings for piston rings these days. I was looking through McMaster and saw square and round ring profiles. Square only comes in Buna-N that goes to 225F. Round rings come in all different flavors of "rubber"

So my question is.... What type of profile ring is best or being used?

Thanks
Tony

I have used Viton O-rings, they work well on my engines. plenty compression. You can also have Quad-rings in Viton quality at least here in Norway ;D
If they do not have in stock they can make them( in any size)
