I am currently and engineering student and have just got my first lathe (Boxford AUD) and cant wait to get into model building. im also waiting for my home foundry to cure so i can cast my own parts, but wee will see how that goes haha.

hey to everybody.

I am studying mech eng at strathclyde (glasgow) scotland.

I plan on building the beginers engine which your forum has designed (thanks) for my first project once i get the basics of metal turning. so i will post up pictures and try and keep a log of my first build.
