My first (ongoing) project

A Dolbeer Horizontal Capstan Steam Donkey using the 1862 Patent drawing and the Armitage drawings of a similar machine,
scale 1"=1' and figure it out as you go along.
I have just tracked down a set of drawings for for the similar machine at 1"=1' so I know have some idea of the details.
I have attached a few photos.

Very nice, Sedge. Is your model going to run on steam from it's boiler, or on air? I built a model of something very similar to that about 4 years ago. I didn't have anything to base mine on other than internet pictures, but it turned out very nice.---Brian
