Driven by my curiosity I have developed a multifunction controller with the following features:
Tachometer (resolution 10 rpm)
Count hours (until to 65550 hours)
Notice maintenance expired
Thermometer for motor (resolution 1° Celsius, range 1° - 95° Celsius)
Notice temperature high
Command valve for emulsion (it on when run the spindle)
Auto off after 3 minutes
For my project I have used a microcontroller of the Microchip, the PIC 16F876 that I programmed with the PICBASICPRO compiler of the microEngineering Labs, Inc. The sensor of the rpm is a sensor effect hall, for temperature is a LM35.
