Not wanting to hijack Crueby's thread on his mini beam engine I started this one.
Many years ago when Sherline still had their contest at the NAMES show I built this mini Mary. I don't remember what the size guidelines were for the contest but I took the drawings that I had for my full sized Reeves 'Mary' and shrunk them down.

What a beautiful little engine! The railings are a nice finishing touch too.

I've always wondered how small a double acting engine could be made, yours have set quite a mark.

Super smooth runner!

Is that a full parallel linkage at the top? Looks like part of one, though there are variants on it that I dont know well. Does the pump link help keep it aligned?

Edit: Never mind - found a larger picture of your one from Reeves castings that shows the link - had not seen that style before, Seems much more compact a linkage than the older style I used that needs a seperate standard. Nice.
