Well folks I mentioned in another thread I needed to make a part for my scroll bending jig because the metal would not fit in apparent defective part.
So made one today. The second attempt looks great just like the original . It doesn't work either arg.
The part in question is a holding clamp a knurled eccentric.
well back to the drawing board and lathe.
Oh well best laid plans...

Tin, ya win some and you lose some. But, you can't hit a home run unless you step up to the plate.

Keep after it and you'll get it!!
 
well decided to make a copy sort of of the mating part the scroll form itself. I was not totally happy with the results but good enough to get the met to fit in the machine and it works. Yesterday put the machine though its paces and did the project for my niece. so things did work out.
