I'm new to scale model engines but not to engines in general.... 8)

My name is Kevin and I live in middle TN (outside of Nashville). My hobbies are collecting and restoring vintage farm engines. I'm currently in the middle of trying to build a version of Henry Ford's first engine just to see if I can do it (haven't bought the plans; just winging it for now). Signed up over here to gather some information with finding cast parts (i.e. flywheels)and look at other folks masterpieces. Thm:

Welcome to the board Kevin.
Are you building a Henry Ford engine full size or a model?

Welcome Kevin,

Great place here as I'm sure you'll soon find...

Welcome to the forum Kevin.
We'd love to see some pics of your build.

Thanks for the welcomes and info guys Thm: Chuck your engine looks real good and the use of the tank/ carb is interesting. I'm actually thinking of making it to full scale or possibly larger since I have a surplus of small engine pistons from 1" to2" diameter laying around (all I have is a drill press and a bandsaw for now, looking at getting a Smithy 3 in 1 next year). If I get home at a decent time tonight I'll try to get some photos of the beginning of my project ...
