How to load a video clip?

G'day All,
As this is a new experience for me, my question is, how is a video of my engine loaded onto this site? I currently have a put together video with the extension .m4v. As I do not see this extension in the list of valid extensions & notice that other videos are shown with a you tube heading I am at a loss as to how to proceed. Thanks in advance.

Probably the easiest way is to upload the video to youtube or Vimeo and then copy the link into your thread/post.
