New member here. Was browsing the Web looking for my next project in my machinist class here at casper college in Wyoming. Can I just ask why this website isn't the greatest website in the world!!!!

Well anyway. None the less I really wanna make an engine. Any suggestions for a first timer?? Thanks!!!

How about a Webster engine. The plans are free on the Internet and you don't need too many specialised purchased parts. Only a couple of gears and a O ring.
There are several build logs on this forum

Mike.

Yes that is the engine and the plans are at the bottom of the page.

@Tin thank I will be sure to read these over. Thank you

You are welcome . welcome to the forum. BTW who says this is not the greatest forum on the web. We think it is !!

I've opted for the twin vertical wobbler for my first build. But i'm having difficulty understanding the plans on tom-john.com. Does anyone have cad style drawings??

An important bit of information that helps in translating the plans is contained in the appendix down at the bottom of the list of Elmer's engines. He explains the abbreviations used on his plans and gives details on constructing common parts used in many of the engines.
