Hello fellow members,
I am brand new to creating engines and i am very interested in creating one.
I have been looking at them for the past two months and i am finally ready to start building one. As i have no experience, If anyone has any tips on building one, creating parts, buying parts and making them etc. If anyone has any plans too that would be helpful. Thanks All and I look forward to this!

First o all welcome to the forum. You want to build engines you have come to the right place.

I have written several threads that are sticky about selecting a first engine to build and what you need to build an engine.
You sign in at an interesting time. If you have an open schedule next weekend and are open to a road trip I suggest you meet some of us at the http://www.cabinfeverexpo.com/ Engineering show next weekend in York PA.
If you want and engine and do not yet have a machine shop set up I suggest you purchase one of these kits http://www.pmmodelengines.com/shop/steam/steam-engine-3/Pm research will be there and i expect have these kits available
And if you are Up to it you could have it running by the end of the weekend. . On the other hand there is so much to see at the show you may just want to browse the exhibits and talk to people about the hobby. The show is only $ 15 for the whole weekend and parking is ample and free.
And if you are looking for tools to set uo a shop there will be a large auction and vendors selling tools as well everything from small hand and measuring tools to brand new cnc Milling machines.
So come and be overwhelmed by the information overload.
Tin

And a big welcome from another Aussie.
