Dear BeachSide-Hank:
Many thanks for your well presented presentation of your press build. I do not have a press BUT I do have a set of bed rails that I have kept for over twenty years in the belief that they would come in handy "some day". Their time has now come indeed. Now I am off to Harbour Freight for a 4 Ton Jack and I shall start to build your economically designed Press.

this is great thank you. ive made some heavy duty ones before but i like this light use one pretty cool and portable

Thanks for the supportive comments guys. Although the big boys do have their place in the shop, I thought an economical mini- version would be found useful as well, especially in the world of modeling. Got another gadget design idea aimed at the home shop/ modeler crowd too, hope to roll it out soon.
